** make sure there is a valid "My Sun" account (from sun.com)

1. edit a file called "registrationprofile.properties"
(should look like this):

userName=username
password=password
hostName=
subscriptionKey=
portalEnabled=false
proxyHostName=
proxyPort=
proxyUserName=
proxyPassword=

2. set correct permissions on file

3. send registration

vi /tmp/registrationprofile.properties

chmod 600 /tmp/registrationprofile.properties

/usr/sbin/sconadm register -a -r /tmp/registrationprofile.properties
